Ghostwriting
Your Ideas, Your Passion
Life's too short to leave projects that matter undone. I ghostwrite for mission-driven clients claiming their expertise with healthy living topics, based on decades spent writing and interviewing.
Why hire a ghostwriter?
Will text sound like me?
Every novice author has areas of book development that could use outside input because of the challenge of getting ideas onto the page. A ghostwriter provides the experience to efficiently turn your ideas into tens of thousand of words that are presented in a compelling book, or to draft your proposal. You may choose to work with a professional ghost (publicly or not) until you have the writing experience to develop future works, or because time constraints prevent you from being fully available to write yourself.

Yes! My job is to help your voice shine through. I interview you in the first stage, and you sign off on an initial book outline, before entering a stage where you provide content feedback as chapters are developed. My goal is to develop clear content that appeals to readers and reflects your intelligence and personality. But all text and edits are yours to accept, or not. Ultimately, I seek to help express your truth clearly while assisting you with knowing how to put your best foot forward in writings.
My credentials

The Ghosting Process
Whether we collaborate to develop the book you want to get out in the world, or on a well-crafted book proposal for memoir or other nonfiction, you’ll receive:

-
A series of interviews that are crucial for capturing your voice and perspective
-
A review of your personal writings and background material about the subject, for potential inclusion
-
Input on factors such as publishing pathways to consider, and other publishing professionals you could hire for content design, etc.
-
The choice of having my name not be mentioned as the ghostwriter
Sample ghosted content is available with a call to discuss working together. An added stage can be learning how to pitch your work, which can increase the success of placing memoir and memoir proposals with literary agents, and is needed for agent review/publishing house consideration of all other nonfiction proposals.

Ghosting investment: $75/hour, with a typical nonfiction work costing $20k or more to develop.
